The name combines the warmth of cinnamon with the aromatic profile of copal, the resin that Mesoamerica has used in ritual since before the Conquest. This stick, manufactured by HEM in India, offers its interpretation of that profile — it is not Mexican copal nor does it claim to be.

The result is a warm aroma, between spice and smoked resin.
