Sandal – Copal
Box with 6 hexagonal tubes with 20 sticks each.
120 incense sticks in total.
The name brings together two distinct incense traditions: sandalwood from India and the aromatic profile of copal, the resin that Mesoamerica has used in ritual since before the Conquest. This stick, made by HEM in India, offers its interpretation of that copal profile alongside sandalwood — it is not Mexican copal nor does it claim to be.
The result is an aroma of wood and resin, a meeting point between two incense traditions that rarely cross in the same stick.
