Rose and Palo Santo don’t usually meet. One is dry, woody, South American ceremonial smoke; the other is perfumery’s most recognizable floral note, sweet and immediate. This stick puts them on the same ember. Neither wins — Palo Santo holds a warm base while rose opens on top of it: softer than an all-wood blend like Palo Santo + Sandalwood from the same line, and steadier than a floral on its own, which tends to fade fast. It’s one of those aromas still noticeable half an hour after you walk back into the room.
