Copal MX Incense Maya (20 sticks)

Description

«Maya» names a tradition here, not a separate ingredient: copal burned in temples and ceremonies among the Maya just as it did among the Mexica, Mixtec, and Zapotec peoples. The name recognizes that plurality instead of reducing all Mesoamerican copal to a single culture.

Twenty sticks of white copal over charcoal, made in Mexico City. It is the largest presentation in the Maya line, for those who already burn incense regularly and don’t want to keep restocking the package.

Packaging: Package with 20 sticks, made in Mexico City. Charcoal stick covered in white copal and resin. Safe use: light the tip for a few seconds and extinguish the flame right away by blowing gently, so it glows as an ember. Place it in a perforated stick holder that catches the ash as the ember moves along the stick, in a ventilated space, away from curtains, paper, or anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave it unattended while it smolders.

Copal accompanies ritual and tradition; it does not replace medical or psychological care.
