Here copal does not come in stick form: white copal and resin are molded over a charcoal cone, which burns differently — it ignites at the tip, the flame is extinguished, and the ember advances downward until the entire cone is consumed, without the continuous and directional ember front of a stick, and usually requires a plate or heat-resistant base instead of a perforated incense holder.

Light the tip for a few seconds and extinguish the flame right away, by blowing, so it remains as an ember. Always place it on a fireproof plate or base—clay, ceramic, a censer—that catches the ash, in a ventilated space, away from curtains, paper, or anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave it unattended while it smolders.

Five cones per package, compared to the 20 sticks in stick presentations: these are five burnings—one cleansing, one offering—not a month of daily use.

Packaging: Package with 5 cones, made in Mexico City. Charcoal cone covered in white copal and resin.

Copal accompanies ritual and tradition; it does not replace medical or psychological care.

Pure Artisanal Mexican Copal Incense

Mexico City

Charcoal cone covered in white copal and resin.100% Maya Copal Incense (Artisanal)
